Fashion For Me!!

It has always been hard for plus sized girls like myself to feel good about themselves! In my opinion it is even harder in today's day and age with all these anorexic looking 'role models' all around us.



In my quest for happiness I have found that a compliment goes a long way. One of the ways I found to get compliments was by looking nice. My biggest nightmare I ever had was shopping for my senior year Prom dress... an experience that's supposed to be the hight light of your HS experience turned into a tear-filled day. I tried on a million dresses and NONE of them fit, just as I was about to give up and call it a day I came accross the store that SAVED MY LIFE, Torrid!



Walking into the store I felt the warmth and the kind vibe. Eventhough the store was a bit more on the edge side I was hoping to find a cute dress I could wear to prom... and I DID!! Finally!! The cutest hot pink dress with black lace... it was adorable!! I had never felt so saved.



From that day on Torrid became my best friend... and with their always fresh styles I feel fashionable, which something I NEVER thought I could feel. Going from a T-shirt and jeans style to a fashionista has definitely boosted my confidence and made me feel better about being ME.



I owe Torrid so much for alowing me to love myself! No one should ever try to change you!
